Steamed Salmon with Mixed Veggies

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 1 | ~370 kcal)

  • 2 salmon steaks (skin-on)

  • ½ cup broccoli florets

  • ⅓ cup sliced carrots

  • ¼ cup cauliflower florets

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • Optional: Lemon wedge, olive oil drizzle


👩‍🍳 Directions

1️⃣ Steam the Salmon
Place salmon steaks in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam for 8–10 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Season with salt and pepper.

2️⃣ Steam the Vegetables
Steam broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower for 5–6 minutes until just tender but still vibrant. Don’t overcook—crisp-tender is best for both taste and nutrition.

3️⃣ Serve & Garnish
Plate the salmon with the vegetables. Add a drizzle of olive oil or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to brighten the flavors.
